RD's Mid Tier Tourney (open to one more)

My first tourney on here, lets see how this goes.

For this tourney, you will select a team of 4 mid level characters.

Rules

- Your characters start out with standard morals and gear. Also your characters don't know anything about your opposing team.

- If I find out that someone has broken a limit, that character will be reverted to a normal human without their powers/abilities, zero nerfing.

- I want to top this off at 16 participants but if there is more interest I will allow more.

- You can choose from any media you deem is fit, however if I have no knowledge you must prove to me that they are in the limits.

- Zero outside help is allowed from your characters.

- Those who select prep as their perk must pm me their prep outline and I will post it in the match thread.

- I get the final say on all rulings.

Limitations

- Strength limit is 100tons. Nothing able to lift a planet or have enough striking power to bust one. Can't exceed Iron Man level of strength.

- Speed limit is mach 10, for both running and flying, nothing higher than Quicksilver.

- Durability limit is being able to take hits from 100 tons characters. Healing factor limited to Wolverine/Deadpool level.

- TK limit is 100 tons. You can use TK offensively, but only one one member at a time.

- TP limit is continental distance telepathic reading/manipulation. You can freely use telepathy, there are going to be perks for this.

- You can use both offensive and defensive magic, provided that it fits in the limits. Strictly no hax/unavoidable powers.

- Reality Warping is not allowed.

- Time manipulation is not allowed, including precog.

- Matter Manipulation/Transmutation is allowed as long as you do not use it offensively.

- Teleportation is allowed, however you can not use it to BFR.

- No plot/PIS powers such as misdirection or luck manipulation

- Energy absorption limit is taking a nuke, nothing higher than Mrs. Marvel

- Energy output limit is city busting/nuke, cant be higher than iron man.

- Elemental manipulation limit cant be more than storm (country/continental level consistently).

- Intangibility/Density Manipulation is allowed as long as it is used for yourself. No making other characters intangible/

- Technopaty is allowed as long as it fits in the limits.

Also note that while summons are allowed, they cant break the limits and you can only use one. 10 clones is the max you can make.

Perks

You will get the choice of two out of the selected perks, no changing of perks once selected, you're stuck with them for the tournament.

-Prep time- you get 12 hours of prep using your character's combined resources. Anything you prep must be feasible and cant go over the limits.

-Perfect teamwork- Your team will work perfectly and cohesively as a team. Please note that prior grudges/rivalries will stand. Characters from separate universes will not work together as well as characters who are familiar with each other.

-Morals off- Your team will operate without morals.

-Gunslinger- You get to pick one piece of non standard gear for each of your characters. This gear can not break the limits.

-Full knowledge- You get full knowledge on the opposing team.

-Home-field advantage- Your team gets to select where the battle is taking place, as well as set up traps, very useful with prep time. Fight will otherwise take place in a location of my choosing with neither team having knowledge. (Note that if two people that choose this perk get matched up, I will have to switch them up, you also can not put this location anywhere else than earth, mostly to prevent the battle being in space and prepping with space suits). You also can not cross into the opposing side's part of the battlefield to set up your prep.

-Telepathic team link- Your team will be telepathically linked, very useful with perfect teamwork.

-I <3 Marvel- If all of your team is marvel, you can select this to bring another character into your side to assist you, providing they are in the limits.

-I <3 DC- If all of your team is from DC, you can select this to bring another character into your side to assist you, providing they are in the limits.

-I <3 Books- If all of your team is from books, you can select this to bring another character into your side to assist you, providing they are in the limits.

-I <3 Anime/Manga- If all of your team is from anime/manga, you can select this to bring another character into your side to assist you, providing they are in the limits.

-I <3 Indie- If all of your team are from indie publishers, you can select this to bring another character into your side to assist you, providing they are in the limits.

@rd1027: ok here's my team for now

madrox inviable woman, rogue, ms marvel, and jean grey no phoenix.

and are we allowed to change perks and characters before the tournament starts. what happens if 2 people choose that they can select the battle field and what is the gun slinging limit?

@darkraiden: Your team looks good but I have a few questions about mimic as I dont know him that well, how good is his telepathy?

@comicdude360 Multiple Man is allowed, Rogue is above the strength limit I believe.

@rd1027: mewtwo, deoxys, darkrai, and Alakazam. Those are all ainme/manga characters so my 5th pick will be Golduck.

My perks will be 12 hours prep and homefield advantage.

@those_eyes: You will need to prove they are in the limits, as I have very limited knowledge about pokemon anime but from what I know from playing the games, Mewtwo should be above the TK limit, and Deoxys speed form above the speed limit.

Possibly professor X level, but this was before most of Prof X's planet level feats.

@rd1027: no rogue is below ms marvel.

@comicdude360: Yes, I will allow Rouge, I can be a little flexible.

@darkraiden as long as its before his planetary level feats, and under 100 tons its fine, because professor x does have a lot of tk feats.

@rd1027: actually instead of jean i'll take magneto and instead of invisible woman i'll take mayday parker. with 12 hours of prep and perfect team work.

@comicdude360: actually rogue is only about a 50 toner

You can change it around until I have made the match-ups, I will not pit any two users who select home-field advantage against each other. Gun slinging limit is that you cant bring any piece of gear that breaks the limitations above.

Basically can conduct radioactive waves into blasts, EMP waves, etc. That's it really.

As long as they are not above nuke/city busting level it is fine.

@rd1027: The Doctor is basically space Batman with Time Travel. But if you limit the Time Travel and hax powers like absorbing the Time Vortex then he should be within the limits. And maybe younger Goku like from the Pilaf Saga as end of DB Goku may be a bit to strong.

@heehaho: Accelerator is way to high.

@sightlessreality: yes his powers allow him to fight high tier characters, but his powers to my knowledge fit the restrictions. Unless I looked over something.

Been looking into the Doctor, since I said no nerfing, I'm sorry he is above the limits. The only Goku I will be allowing is Kid Goku before his training with Master Roshi.

Accelerator is over the limits by far, way above city busting.

I know next to nothing about these so please prove they are in the limits

@rd1027: but Magneto is in who has feats that are far superior to Accelerator's(unless we are using current Magneto). It is your tourney and your call though so I will choose Sandy Hawkins.

If you can provide feats and scans of Magneto doing more damage than a nuke/city leveler can then please show me, didn't sandy hawkins move the rock of eternity which is thousands of tons?

Explain what you mean by Composite Spider Man because pretty sure Cosmic Spiderman is above the limits.

Batman 1 million is fine as long as he cant prep anything above the limits and has the feats to do so.

@rd1027: By composite I mean an amalgam of Ult., 616, Assassin and movie versions of Peter.

@bluejay4: Hmm still not fully understanding, are you combining their strength and power or are you just using the best feats from each? It sounds okay to me if its the latter.

He's also blocked nukes with ease after that, blocked attacks from Phoenix, and even defeated her a few times. He's easily top tier and too strong for a mid tier tournament. He's someone who beats all of the Avengers at once.
