Are all going up against:
So, The Marvel Villains are acting as a cohesive unit, and have essentially all knowledge of Apokolips, whilew the planet has no idea that it will be invaded. Marvel villains get a year of prep.

This whole battle is beneath Doom. 1 year prep for Doom with full knowledge and the enemy doesn't know he's coming? That's like putting TOAA in a battle.
People has much faith in Doom or has freaking laziness to think about the battle. Is the same thing with Batman: Because he's Batman and now is because he's Doom.

1 year prep time Doom can siphon off the cosmic power of cosmic entities. He's done it with less time. He can get his hands on a cosmic cube. He can build an army of doombots powerful enough to wipe out the parademons. He can augment his own power to the point where he can be Darkseid's equal. Doom is literally the walking embodiment of plot device. With prep time he's unstoppable except for due to his own arrogance. So he's not the same as Batman, he's worse.
I just don't see it. They could take a hell of a lot of Apokolips with them, but when Darkseid shows up it's stomping time.

Acquiring a cosmic cube falls outside of what these characters can do, if it was a simple matter of summoning or creating it then fine but Doom has only ever acquired it as part of the plot ,unlike making robots or death rays they cannot be certain they can acquire it.
What characters can do with prep is greatly exaggerated if they need to venture out of the safety of their laboratories and go up against outside forces that would actively oppose them acquiring an object or resource then that falls outside what they can do with prep.
It certainly doesn't help matters that the denizen's and resources of Apokilip's have been fleshed out in N52.
Not a great fan of this team for the task of taking Apokolips. Doom and Count Nefaria complement each other well. Selene can be useful, but not so much for mass warfare. I guess the Mad Thinker can use some of the Doom fortune to make a lot of cannon fodder robots. The Leader, eh. Much better off to have people like Magneto/Graviton/Juggernaut with Doom and Nefaria.

How would it fall outside of these characters capabilities(specifically Doom)? Doom has and continues to do ridiculous things with prep time that do require him venturing beyond the safety of his laboratory. He's the ruler of Latveria and can and has ruled the entire Earth before. He's stolen the powers of the Beyonder, the Silver Surfer, became the Sorcerer Supreme and made Thanos, a being of such ridiculous intelligence and understanding of the multiverse, respect him for his own intelligence. You're forgetting that they have FULL KNOWLEDGE and the element of surprise. With his feats of siphoning powers and gaining new ones what's to stop Doom from taking the Omega Effect or finding a way to nullify Darkseid's powers?

Your still confusing prep with plot everyone one of your examples required Doom to have a plot device to pull off this plan, no different than Joker acquiring Mr Myx's powers but you don't see many people assume that he can do that whenever he wants with prep.
A good example of prep would be when he used a ritual to banish Morgan Le Fay, that required knowledge and resources he had on hand but even then he needed help from the Avenger's.
Without a plot device I don't see the team winning.
I think that doom with 1 year prep IS a walking plot device.
Well, if he knows all 'bout darkseid, he'd take him out first with a big cosmic power-beam(Power for wich siphoned from any cosmic entity, you chose wich....)
Then the team easily takes this.
