War Machine wins . Even Batman could build better suits than Luthor Corp in his cave, Lex always had junk suits

Even with all Lex's attempts at cheating via red light bulbs or kryptonite, just about all Lex's battlesuit have still been ripped apart, rather easy many, many times. It's War Machine who has taken hits from the hardest hitters. Lex is a bit hyped because Superman elevates Lex's position by pulling his punches. War Machine and Stark fight people who never pull their punches. War Machine will own Lex worse than Ironman owned that guy with Taliban guy with a dish towel on his head

lex's suit should be able to absorb more punishment then warmachine's suit 
does anyone know the speed of lex's suit compare to warmachine's? (flight and reflex for combat)

I'm going to go with Lex Luthor, his suit has been ripped open and destroyed. But it was against Superman level characters, higher then what War machine has been up against in my opinion., and as mentioned he was able to destroy several Omacs in a single blast.

This is still valid. If he can sustain several punches from a pissed off Superman and annihilate several Omacs in a single blast, he's above War machine. "

Luthor almost always built junk suits
Even with a Kryptonite power core and even with Luthor's suits blasting out red sun rads his suits have never really scored that much against Superman  
That's because they are "junk suits"
 
These Luthor suits are specifically built to tangle with Superman but Lex can barely score any wins against him
Heck even the Bat can beat Luthor's suits around
 
 
Lex for all his money and all his cunning wasn't really that good when it came to manufacturing war hardware.
War Machine gets the best stuff, its quality war hardware from the labs of Tony Stark
 "Rhodey," evolved into crazy Machine levels, the guy was going Extremis and becoming one with the machine. He may not have been as smart as Tony but the upgrades James Rhodes got gave him a lot of Tony's super Extremis abilities. I would be surprised if Rhodes didn't just blink and force Lex's technology and weapons to turn against him
that's the kind of crazy stuff they could do, they weren't just one-with-the-machine their powers had become deus ex machina 
 
  "Rhodey,"  suits were also designed to fighting many different opponents in multiple situations
"Luthors" suit is designed for one thing, fighting Superman and it usually doesn't do much of a job
You can be sure if "Rhodey" was preped with intelligence told Superman was weak against kryptonite and red sun rays, Rhodey would be doing far better in a fight than Lex did
Heck even the Bat does far better against Superman than Lex does
 
 
I give this to Rhodey his suit is a real war suit, designed for many people in real fights 
While its true Rhodey ain't as smart or as cunning as Lex, Rhodey's suit and body are way more powerful...he's like a mix between Skynet and one of Ironman's great suits
He can always just  deus ex machina  this and make Lex's weapons turn on himself

It's tough, it could go either way but I'm gunna say Lex because I like him more.

 So Xan you've dropped back to the fail A vs B vs C logic
So Xan because Batman can take a punch from Superman means Batman owns Thor?
 
Let's face facts Lex can't take a punch from Superman, Lex Luthor's battlesuit can take a shot from a weakass Superman badly dewpowered by kryptonite radiation
 or his suit can take a punch from a Superman depowered by red sun rays.
Even if Lex faced a Superman at the peak of his power we also know boy scout Superman spends most of his life being nicely, not blood lusted etc and on any given he holds back....I would take any feats of shaking off blows from Superman with a pinch of salt
 
Rhodey however isn't a fragile human like Lex, he's a machine, he's lost a lot of his human side and he's half friggin Terminator, like Cyborg "Vic" Stone like some skynet creation and he comes with a bunch of super Extremis abilities that Ironman once had
 which means fighting "Rhodey" with tech is gonna be a really dumb idea
I wouldn't be surprised if Rhodey with no suit could actually survive a shot from a bloodlusted Superman, and hack up Lex Corp by just using his mind. That's how far Rhodey has evolved into machine territory
 
To Lex's credit he is way smarter, way more cunning, and ruthless than Rhodey
 
but bringing a battle suit to a fight to a guy who can control machines just by thinking about it that's a bad, really bad idea 
 
Lex can win this with prep, however taking a battlesuit to fight a guy who owns machines with his mind. That idea is only going to sabotage any chance Lex Luthor has at success
