Depends. If he holds back like when he fought Batman, Team might win 1 round.

@darthaznable: He wasn't just "holding back vs Batman". he was dying of a plague that would eventually wipe out nearly all life on a planet, amnesiac and didnt even know he was karate kid at this point. This is kind of important since he "learned" his skills and wasnt born with any superhuman abilities, so managing to take apart Batman under those conditions is ....kinda impressive in itself

And while we are there , the conclusion to this story had him dodging instant death speed force lightning AFTER it struck him on panel while noting himself to be faster than wally. Shortly after these events he would straight up karate chop a dude's, who has feats for getting into extended fights with superman and supergirl, arm off . This after being weakened to " starting to cough blood" levels by the plague

That being said the one thing people don't seem to be aware of , is that there does exist a version of Val who needed to *think* to activate his superspeed. That's actually long enough for Cassandra to kill him in h2h depending on the starting distance , and almost certainly with weapons

Ha, Batman could solo even if KK was not holding back

@thegrayghost: You realize KK and Batman have fought twice right? Once with jet packs and the other time in the Batcave where Black lightning came in. He didn't show much signs of being hindered during either of those fights IIRC.

In fact just to clear the whole thing up, just to name that one feat since supergirl is being mentioned, equus the dude from For Tomorrow who could take a prolonged blitz from superman without getting knocked out, tries attacking Val and Una

Kara intervenes and is promptly dispatched with a combination of an acid thingy and brute strength

Val at this point straight up chops the dudes arm off with a karate chop. This while being poisoned by a plague powerful enough to wipe out ( nearly) all life on a planet

Now Supergirl eventually recovers and overpowers Equus buuut the point is Val can hurt Class 100s just fine , even when he is literally on the verge of dying

....as for "not being hindered" in the other fight, I believe you reaaallly need to recheck the issue , and the context associated with

In fact, just the issue where Val outright says " But im not KK!" ( since he is amnesiac) and still manges to split Bruce's cowl and take his utility belt while noting stuff like " hey you used that karate style. I know this. How do I know this??" before needing to be cheap shotted by Black Lightning is kinda obvious in itself

From what I'm seeing of the fight, there was context and more to it involved. What issue was it?

she used red sun swords when she fought supergirl and still lost

Karate Kid while holding back and having a disease that was killing him

fought supergirl dodged her heat vision and saved her from getting killed by equus(who was destroying supergirl and was going to cut her in two if KK didnt interfere)

1. Equus was designed to fight Kryptonians. It's like praising Batman for stopping Metallo.

3. She saves him from getting killed by Equus first in Supergirl number 22.

KK chops ONE of Equus' arms off and it's actually Supergirl that stops him by freezing him.

4. Batman has fought equally against Val more than once. Batman isn't among DC's top five fighters while Cass likely is.

Val is overrated. Batman alone has a chance at beating him. Cass probably could and Deathstroke probably could. Not sure about Steve. Together, they beat him down.

Haha see for yourself. Equus almost killed KK before she saved him. That's without landing any hits from behind like the chop you keep mentioning. Equus is basically a weak robotic Doomsday.

CLEARLY you did not even read the story lol. The train toss doesn't hurt her. The shock of remembering her time with the Legion causes her to faint. Equus throws the train in her afterwards which she shrugs off when she wakes up.

And again this is the issue where Val chops off his arm and reacts to a supergirl using her speed and heat vision and whatnot . This is while he is outright dying from a plague that would eventually wipe out all life on a planet

Sure, Equus " adapted" to his skills. Sure supergirl jobs out people for fun in her solo ( this is not really the worst case , jobbing out the entire JSA including Alan Scott among others is probably up there). sure it makes not a lick of sense that you are arguing now that equus' durability is so variable that he can literally have his arms chopped off by KK while....not being hurt half as much by superman. sure you are straight up making up the " equus= metallo " rubbish

so... just to get this straight. dude dying of a plague that would wipe out all life on a planet , beats the guy who has otherwise taken on supes while again, dying of said condition. Then after his condition has worsened , he tangles with supergirl in her heh...less than unbiased series, dodges her heat vision and punches , while again dying before she catches him. Equus then turns up and proceeds to hurt supergirl. Val straight up chops his arm off . again , the dying of a plague val is eventually overpowered by the the guy who can trade punches with SUPERMAN lets not forget, because of " adapted to your style" hilarious plot devices ...buut still lasts long enough for supergirl to beat him , again all while dying of a plague capable of killing kryptonians

you feel this , somehow shows the likes of Batman can compete with him in any way

As far as Equus and Doomsday go, Doomsday is quite a bit stronger, so that comparision doesn't work either
