Location: The Merovingian's Chateau

Round 1: Agent's Brown & Jones (Agents standing beside Smith)

Round 2: Upgraded Agents Johnson, Jackson & Thomson (Bottom Three)

Round 3: Agent Smith (First Movie)

(Agents attack one at a time until they are all defeated then attack at the same time each round, so basically: Brown, Jones, Brown and Jones. then: Thomson, Jackson, Johnson, All Three)

Rules: Random Encounter

• In Character
• Morals Off
• No Prep
• Standard Gear (Preston has both of his Grammaton Cleric pistols two clips each and a Katana, Agents each have one Desert Eagle one clip each. Refills each round. Weapons can be taken off the walls)
• No BFR
• Win By Incapacitation and/or Death

Well his car does so he technically shoot guns. I think.

I think he can win the first round. The second round will be pretty hard just because of the added agent, I didn't really notice a big difference in the whole upgrade thing though. Round 3 he can win, but will most likely lose. He can maybe get 3/10 in round 3. Cool match though.

agents win.. john preston is still human. doesn't have the speed or constitution to win

Equilibrium is a freakin awesome movie... but Preston is outclassed here. Even without guns the Agents would curbstomp him.

with his 'lol, dodged bullet', I don't see why not.. We've seen how insanely fast agents are, keeping up with smith was a serious feat for him. And his fighting skills are far off the charts..

Technically he is human, but the feats he pulls off in that movie are well above the capabilities of a human. Realistically, he should be considered superhuman in reaction time and speed. I think he could hang with an agent. Agents weren't the best shots in the Matrix movies, then again no one in the Matrix was really a very good shot.

Since the Agents are without guns he could scratch through rounds 1 & 2.

@ancient_0f_days: Neo... no! An Agent yes... Remember that most famous scene of The Matrix? Rooftop shootout where Neo dodged bullets in slo-mo, before that Neo had just unloaded two clips to an Agent and got nothing but air! Preston is not getting through that...

@theonetaichou: considering the fact that Preston is quite super human himself as far as speed and accuracy goes, I don't see why he couldn't hit an Agent....

John Preston did the same pretty much and way more effortlessly, if you watched Equilibrium....

@ancient_0f_days: it's not the accuracy or Preston's speed that is trouble but the fact that the rooftop Agents dodged ALL the bullets from two clips... accuracy/precision/trigger speed of Preston is meaningless when an Agent can simply see the bullet and dodge it. That is the crux of the matter... Preston's stats add nothing to his chances unfortunately.

The only thing that might help Preston is if the bullets from his gun moved faster than standard bullets (but considering he missed at the puppy in the trunk scene) kinda hard to extrapolate. So meh... gets curbstomped.

I don’t know what I was thinking 8 years ago. Preston isn’t beating anyone from The Matrix.
