Round 1: Infinite waves of one at a time (so basically a gauntlet but it's the same enemy that he keeps fighting until he loses)
Round 2: All at once
Round1: a lot
Round2: 5
I think maybe for round 1 he'd stop at wave 80 or 60.
@oraculi: I’m confused. So like for round 1 it starts off with one alien then 2, 3 and so on?
@imsososorry: Round One is basically
Wave 1: One Outrider
Wave 2: One Outrider
So on and so forth the difference being Cap does not heal or regain lost stamina after each wave.
Round 1: for 12 hours (he can do this all day, but eventually night finds us all)
Round 2: 10-20(hes injured at like 15 then kills a few more while dying)
@death4bunnies: I'm find if you do it.
Sorry for late reply, I was doing homework lol
R1:
- First 5-10 outsiders he probably one shots without too much trouble
- Next 10 or so he starts actually fighting, to catch his breath.
- He cen keep fighting and eventually beating them for a long time. When he reaches 40th-50th he'll be probably barely standing from minor wounds, lose of blood and general exhaustion.
- Anywhere from 50-80 he eventually gives up and loses counciosness.
R2: Anywhere from 8-12 should be enough to overwhelm him
Depends on what kind of plot armor he's wearing.
This. They never used their "Hulkbuster cutting" claws against Cap for some reason they were just pulling and pushing him around. So depends on plot armor.
Actually the Hulkbuster cutting claws is what was stupid and I always disregard that.
Seriously? We have 5 of thed taking down Hulkbuster AND cutting it?
R1: At least 20-30
R2: Depends on the location. If it's a confined space such as an elevator, I see him fighting no more than 2 or 3 at once, but if it's an open space such as a field, he could take like 6-7 simultaneously.
It won't make any logical sense.
They literally swarm Captain and are apparantly attacking him but if they're not using the claws then what are they even doing?
It just sounds ridiculous that they can cut through Hulkbuster and use their claws readily while they don't attack Captian with the claws even once when he's down and unable to fight. One slash from the claws would literally kill anyone in the whole Wakanda army and any of the Super Soldiers barring Black Panther.
@richubs: On-screen they never used their claws against Cap... even when 3 of the got a hold of Cap they were just pulling and pushing him lmao. Watch it in slow mo i saw one try to bite Cap (but their bites were doing nothing to Hulkbuster except causing tiny sparks so Cap's bulletproof suit may save him) but the same one that bit him just grabbed his leg and didn't use claws either. Lord Russos protect Cap from the evil of the world. ??
That's kind of what I'm talking about.
I am going to outright discard stuff like this because that's PIS. What else could be a better example of Plot Induced Stupidity?
They had surrounded Cap and he was down while they all swarmed him and was like that while Thor came in and not one of them used their claws? That's BS.
On top of that these creatures suddenly having clwas that can cut through Hulkbuster is also BS because that'd mean they can claw through Titanium with ease. If that was the case pretty much most of the Wakandan army would be dead.
So we can have 2 possibilities. Assume that the claws themselves were actually Hulkbuster level and that they didn't his Captian with thier claws even once while so many of them were surrounding them.
Or we can assume that them cutting Hulkbuster wasn't thought out very well and discard them taking down Hulkbuster as Banner's incompetency. I don't see 5 to 6 Captain America's together being able to push Hulk down. Outriders are far weaker and yet they could push a similar opponent with absolute ease.
The Russos wanted to build some tension and wanted stakes and did this without thinking at all.
That's one of the bugger issues with Russo directed action scenes. The power levels are all over the place.
R1: I don't wanna say he can take out over 1,000 but he was one shotting some of the Outriders in IW when it was one on one.
R2: 4 Outriders should do it.
"You guys think that Steve won't be able to kill more than 20 outriders in round 1?"
Wtf? I said he could fight off at least 20-30 lol, what are you smoking?
That gif doesn't really support your argument at all. I doubt those hits were one-shotting, they probably got back up and came at him again. During the whole battle, he had constant help and support. from other Avengers and the Wakandan warriors. Plus, he got briefly overwhelmed by like 3 right before Thor arrived:
That and them taking down Hulkbuster is what I'm calling PIS.
They had so much time and they didn't use it once? That's stupid given they readily use it otherwise.
But it happened, didn't it? So what's to say there won't be another resilient Outrider than can pin him whilst the others beat him down. And you clearly posted a gif of Steve fighting alongside T'Challa. Are you really going to suggest that whilst fighting side-by-side these two mutually-respectful Avengers would not have helped out one another over the course of that battle?
Steve is not fighting off 10-15 in round 2. That is more than was needed to pin down the Hulkbuster.
And please, I beg of you, don't compare Steve to the Hulkbuster suit.
"100+"
Lol, sure.
Except maybe it's not a low showing for the armour, but rather a high showing for the Outriders. They beat down an armour, and also beat down Cap. I have given you two instances of very competent heroes on very different power levels being overwhelmed by them, but sure you can call it PIS.
And lol at him one-shotting all the other Outriders he fought.
He didn't one-shot here:
He didn't one-shot here either:
Show me some definitive evidence of him actually one-shotting. You've just shown a clip in which he knocks them down, and then it is cut away, so we have no way of knowing if they got back up or not. In my first GIF, it takes him at least 2 shots to even knock one down. In my second, it takes him three strikes to knock the Outrider out, and he presumably hit it once before in order to take it to the ground.
Maybe you can try giving some actually conclusive evidence to support your point (which I have done extensively)
Or, you know, you can just call me a retard.
How about you give some evidence of Cap one-shotting? I've shown you the GIFs of when we have actually seen him fighting outriders on screen, and these gifs show that he does not always one-shot. Panther was one-shotting because he had those concussive energy blast things, which can be seen in the one GIF you posted. And when did we see other Wakandans one-shotting? And there is no way to quantify how many he took out in Wakanda. We didn't see him fighting Outriders for the majority of the scene, and we don't have a proper time-frame. He could've killed 30,100 or 1000. No way to know definitively. And on this site, we prefer to use solid, definitive evidence rather than just assuming that he killed 50 billion.
All you have done is say that you've proven me wrong despite providing no evidence, get increasingly salty and hurl insults like a small child.
Grow up.
@wolverinebatmanftw: All that poster does is debate using assumptions so don't even waste your time with them.
OT:
Round 1: maybe 15-20 before tiring out
Round 2: 4-6
Round 1 - “I can do this all day”
Round 2 - Maybe a few of them. All at once are way too many. Give him the hammer and it becomes a better showing
Six Outriders took down the Hulkbuster. How the hell is he even reaching that for round 2?
R1: About 20 with his shield, 100 or so with Mjolnir.
R2: 2 or 3.
@wolverinebatmanftw: I kind of agree with you tbh it was pretty evident the only person who had zero trouble with the outriders was Thor.
Round1: a lot
Round2: 5
