so if they were both put into identical bodies, with only their kung fu to fight it out with? goku's attacks and flying are still kung fu. goku would win, cause batman can't fly.
Batman might have a chance under those conditions. He knows all the world's major martial arts, so he's be hard to beat for someone who only uses a single style. Exactly what is Goku's style? Some sort of Kung Fu?
it's kung fu in the dbz universe. some humans can fly, so goku could fly if he was in a human body. but batman could probably be taught to fly if he was a dbz human.
I think the whole point of the fight is to eliminate all the superhuman powers and use only conventional martial arts ability. Flight isn't something you see real Kung Fu fighters doing, so for this fight, Goku can't do it either.
so i'll assume no flight allowed. or uber-ki-laser-death-blasts-of-insane-overkill. then batman, cause goku wins by going "oh snap! super saiyan level bazillion and one!"
no superhumanness allowed for the purposes of this fight. they have both been transplanted int identical human bodies and cannot use magic or stuff, only kung fu. still batman, unfortunately, cause i don't like batman.
I say Batman for just the sheer amount of martial art types he's mastered, quite a few. As for Goku who has only mastered one from what I've heard. (Although I've never seen him use skill, just superspeed and strength and crap.)
no he channels them from his inner ki he learns to channel the ki from the use of martial arts but with a battle where you are only using martial arts and not the use of ki it evens out the batle field

i was only trying to even the battle field not start a flame war all i wanted to know is who the better martial artist is and who would win in a battle where they are both equal and only use their martial arts skills not any prep or power

If they both are DC/Marvel U humans, then Bats wins.
If they are both DBZ U humans, I unno, it's up in the air cause Bats would know diff matial arts and Goku is a master of a DBZ matial art already and they could fly etc.
If its Goku as the alien buy he is but without any power, then Goku wins cause as a kid he annihilated people.
