Also, she was capable of handling chitauri who were capable of harming Iron Man and Hulk himself, nearly putting down the green giant briefly. Fodder always jobs hard.
@apex_pretador: "Fodder" is a term we as the audience use to designate nameless characters that we know are destined for death due to the demands of the plot. It says absolutely nothing about their in-universe abilities, and by dismissing fodder as merely being "fodder" we effectively neuter our ability to debate honestly.
The chitauri infantry she barely held her own against didn't do any notable damage to Iron Man's suit, and were completely powerless against the Hulk.
