They didn't come up with "God" Pokemon. That's a completely fan-made term, and as far as I know, there haven't been any Pokemon officially referred to as the "God" of Pokemon.
Galactus wins, in the film, Arceus, with all tables and with all his power, is knocked out by a meteorite, which had the power to destroy a village, without boards loses power, and to make lose the boards, just that he be hit by something like a meteorite. However, he, in the film, creates, so it seems, only its dimension, and some say that perhaps he has also created other universes but it is not safe. He is not at the level of Toaa

And the 10 year old's aren't just any ten year old. The 10 year olds you're talking about has pokemons that can create black holes (gardevoir),move mountains with one arm(machamp),can be hotter than the sun's surface(magcargo),has iq of 5000+ (alakazam),can transform into anything(ditto) and many more.
@norin-radd: I was intentionally exaggerating with the 10 year old thing, I know you need extremely strong Pokemon to stand a chance of surviving against him.
Also, you can use the Azure Flute. I know it's event only, but you can still catch him through that.

Unless you're saying that the 10 year old characters in Pokemon games are omnipotent, Arceus was actually captured by ordinary humans with advanced technology capable of capturing typical pocket monsters out in the wild.
So... Anime Arceus loses, and Game Arceus loses even harder too.
Gaalctus stomps easily arcues need feats to back up he's random hyperbole if he wasn't hurt by a freaking thunderbolt he's universal hyperbole would be credible seeing as how even the ki's have made the universe yet are considered fodder to ss 1 due to lack of feats as it stands galan stomps

Game Arceus was given away in pokeballs. Unless someone gives me a convincing argument that an omnipotent creator is willing to go into a pokeball for kids to command, I'm not buying the "statements" of him having universal-level powers. We go with what is shown consistently in terms of feats, and game feats of Arceus are... Well, just competitive.
You're not getting feats of arceus because i doubt he will ever appear in a canon games other than events so only feats you'll get is statements and pokedex entries. But as far as dc goes palkia or dialga are capable of creating and destroying universe as recreating unverse with their power was team galactics plan and arceus is above them.
And video games version of requaza is more powerful than anime arceus as it has destroyed a meteor which was about to destroy earth in mystery dungeon red/blue rescue team.

@donatellorawks: so? There's tons of people who created universe who are billion times more powerful than arceus but still not omnipotent. For example nyarlathotep of demonbane created klein bottle which contains infinite multiverses,WE of xenogears who created multiverse with mare fraction of his power,and the xenogears universe was created just because he was there he didn't even tried it was created just because he was there he's that powerful.
Game Freak themselves refuse to knowledge the existence of a "God Pokemon", especially when Mew was already cited as the source of all Pokemon. Why do you think they've refused to release him.
