Aquaman VS Scarlet Spider (Kaine) and Spider-Man (Doc Ock)

• Battle takes place in Chicago near the Chicago River. The Spider-Men spot Aquaman while perched amidst the Chicago skyline and move in to attack.
• The Spider-Men have the advantage of surprise but no prep time.
• Winner by KO, Death or BFR
• Standard equipment for all combatants

Is aquaman taking on wonder woman and all that consistent in the new 52? Or was that just a random one off thing? Anyone mind filling me in on the other impressive things aquaman has done?

He can re-create any soundwave and direct it.

Himmmmm, I think Aquaman wins, 6/10.

He could certeinly take down either one on his own. Kaine with some stealth time is useful, and overall, I think he and Ock could get some wins. But overall I think Aquaman could take either down. Trident to the Chest for the win!

@jashro44: lifted an ocean liner (around 100000 tons), survived a point blank explosion aboard a plane and the fall to earth, is bullet resistant (bullets barely cut his skin), blitzed WW with superspeed after she attacked him first, was the only leaguer to hurt Darkseid with the Trident, survived (so far) being electrocuted, poisoned, set on fire and is immune to cold. He can also leap like the Hulk, punched Supes a great distance, before taking it to WW, etc.

He is also an excellent strategist, leader and fighter (especially with the Trident)

Lifted an Ocean Liner, Held Tectonic Plates together IIRC, blitzed WW, so IMO its a mismatch.

Damn. Aquaman takes it.

Ock could possibly take him with prep, but head to head he and Kaine probably couldn't dent him.

@laflux: @comicfan11: Is Aquaman considered a match for Wonder Woman? When I thought of this battle, I figured that Aquaman would out class the spiders in strength for sure. But I figured that Kaine and Ock would both bring about 10-20 tons of strength to the fight, which I assumed would be sufficient to harm Aquaman. I also figured that Ock's spider-sense would be a challenge to deal with. I also thought that the more ruthless nature of Kaine and Ock would allow them to be a better challenge to Aquaman.

When did he blitz WW? I only remember they fighting in the last JLA issue.

About the DS fight...

A little Off topic... did you see Aquaman's trailer for the Injustice videogame? What did you think about it?

Here's the blitz, after WW "sucker" attacks AQ with the lasso. Aquaman's response is charge her at superspeed and crash her through the port, taking out a big part of the surroundings in the process.

Aquaman was the only Leaguer to draw blood from Darkseid's body (chest). Both AQ and WW took out his eyes, but only AQ had an effect on Darkseid's "armor".

As for the trailer of Injustice, I really liked it of course.

Seems WW and AQ will go at it again a la Flashpoint (Amazons vs Atlanteans)

I also really liked that AQ is on the side of the Resistance. And that he is mainly using the Trident.

Aquaman

Aquaman. His trident has blocked magic attacks before.

Aquaman tears them to pieces. He is a true powerhouse. The new 52 interpretation of him are impressive.

Aquaman stomps.

Lol...aquaman...hes just too much for them...good fight but Aquaman is one of the heavy hitters...

If were talking Kaine with the Other power I think they would give Aquaman a hell of a fight
