I haven't actually read Kick-Ass, so unless he has some crazy combat feats in the comic that puts him significantly above movie Kick-Ass, then I'm not sure these guys could take down 3 SHIELD agents, let alone 18.

Have you ever read Kick-Ass? The most he can fight at a time is two people, Mark Millar stated that more than that and he'd get his ass kicked. So I think the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents take this.
