Hi I have a Request

So hi. I'm working on an original character, but I'm terrible at drawing and was wondering if somebody would like to try and draw her. I'll give her background description for inspiration as well as an Idea I have for her costume, although I still am not sure how I want her costume to be exact so you can have liberty with that as long as some specific criteria are met I guess.

Anyways here is the info

Superhero name: Pride

Background: The background is that she was a trans girl, and one day her hormone injection was acidently swapped with a new version of the super soldier serum after a mishap. Upon injecting it she gained super strength, durability, a small healing factor, incresaed agility, flexibility, etc making her just above peak human level. Her day job is a teacher at the Harvey Milk School in new york. The harvey milk school, is an alternative school for LGBT students so they can learn in a safe area. She decides to ignore her powers untill, she sees one of her students being picked on after school. She decides to intervene and thats when she realizes she can be a symbol and protector of people.

Description: she is in her mid to late thirties. She has tan skin and is a brunette( being half puerto rician).

I sort of imagined her in an outfit similar to Captain Marvels current outfit, except it was pure blue, with a triangle on her chest that had the colors of the LGBT flag. Her belt buckle and cuffs around her legs have the colors of the Trans flag.. you can really alter the design anyway you want for the costume. BUT the things I want in there for sure are the. Colors of the flags incorporated somehow and her ethnicity( unless you like do a mask that completly covers her face thats cool too)

Hi. I could maybe do with some specifics, as I don't want to screw up potentially the first ever drawing of a character. Or do you simply want a design based on my interpretation from what you've said?

@v_scarlotte_rose: Your interpretation is fine. If you need images of the flags so you can understand better i can try to get some. And thank you so much again. It means alot

@shadowx: I'm quite familiar with the flags, so that's not a problem.

Are there particular hairstyles, poses or facial expressions you would prefer? And if you want it to look kind of like Captain Marvels suit, would you want boots and gloves in a different colour to the main suit?

And if she's flying in the picture, would a rainbow or trans flag colour trail be appropriate? Kind of like on the Powerpuff Girls, but not just one colour.

@v_scarlotte_rose: i think a happy, posiive looking face. Like hopeful but fun loving if that makes sense.

As for boots and gloves. maybe red? I think red would be good

Her hair is shoulder length and she wears it back.

And hmm Well it wanst originally in her power set ro fly( but now i actually like the idea) and sure either flag would be great. I think the LGBT flag would be better. because although she is trans, she stands up for the whole lgbt community. But if you think the trans flag would look better/easier to do/ etc then you can do that one as well.

@shadowx: I'll see what I can come up with.

My designs are naturally quite simplified, but I'll try and be as detailed as I can.

I thought I should try a design with pink, as it adds to the trans flag motif. Totally your decision, but I thought I should add a suggestion.

@v_scarlotte_rose: i like the pose. The Triangle is perfect and I like both the far right and far left glove designs. Sorry im so indesicive

Also, you asked for a belt buckle in trans flag colours. Do you have an idea of what sort of shape? I thought this would work for the belt itself, but I'm not sure what to do with the buckle.

And that belt buckle looks good to me.

@shadowx: I meant for that to be the belt itself. Do you just want that all the way along without a visible buckle?


Anyway, hair. I drew this as an idea. You said she wears it back, so I made sure to not have the fringe/sides cover her eyes at all, but for the rest, is this alright, or did you mean for some kind of ponytail?

@v_scarlotte_rose: oh my bad. That can be the belt itself. No need for a physical buckle actually.

@shadowx: O.K. Now, would you like a mask, or just have her face on display? For simple eye masks we could have round blank eyes, slightly close blank eyes, or visible eyes, or I can try something else. Any ideas?

Sorry they're kind of rough looking. Just did them quick to show some ideas.

Also, by brunette, is it a light brown, or basically black you're looking for, and is this skin tone O.K., too light, too dark?

@v_scarlotte_rose: The skin tone is good. And the lighter one is good unless you have something in between thosse two. And I like the slightly closed blanked eye mask.

Also, what colour for the mask?

Also, is this O.K. to start inking?

@v_scarlotte_rose: the hair color is perfect. And pink for the mask to match the gloves and boots.

And yes it seems great to me.
