Origin
The Wanderer belonged to a race of peaceful humanoid arachnids whose planet Loam was enslaved by a superior race known as The Torment. The Wanderer managed to escape and discovered The Hara Vine, the last tree left on Loam. The Hara Vine bore a gleaming or which revealed itself to be Shanhara, the X-O Manowar armor. Shanhara deemed The Wanderer to be worthy thus he became the first being to wear the all powerful X-O Manowar armor. He then freed his people, who then took on the name The Vine. Using his new power, The Wanderer led his species to massive technological advancements. For more see The Vine.
Creation
The Wanderer was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Cary Nord. He first appeared in the story "Planet Death Part 1" in X-O Manowar #11 (Mar. 2013).
