and yeah you are right. he could have said "no do something better" but instead he went "it will sell more books" and you know what: it worked. i bought a few x-force books just to see what it was about.

Despite my initial misgivings about Emma, she's really grown on me. I didn't even know she had her own origin series until this video. Is that worth picking up or should I pass and just be happy without her origin story?

It depends. I found it to be quite interesting, but it is not your typical filled-with-action-super-hero story. It's more of a teen drama actually. Makes some of her mistakes more understandable, though, so if you like her a lot this is worth your money.

i personally started to love Emma Frost during the Phalanx Covenant (Uncanny X-Men #316) which eventually led to her being co-leader of Generation-X... Joe Madureira did excellent work on drawing the former White Queen (wearing green tights?) in that issue ^_^

Man it would be hard having her as a teacher, with her walking around in basically white lingerie...*ahem*, but anyways I like that costume Scott has better than his other blue and yellow one. Lucky fella, he had Jean and NOW Emma??? Good lord. I haven't been up on my xmen lately. @UnsolvedParadox: If your wanting to know where she comes from etc then buy her solo series which has 3 volumes (higher learning, mind games and bloom) alternatively you could buy her x-men origins one shot which isn't as good but does a similar job.

i was a big fan of all the X-books when i was young, stopped reading comics for i guess about 7 years, and when i came back Cyclops was shacked up with her, and Jean not even buried yet!! and it's not the first time he's done something like that (Madelyne Pryor)--so i suppose i ought to be angry at him, but what could he do with a woman like that? it'll all end in tears though (if it hasn't already), she's bad news trust me!

Basically (in the nicest terms I can use to explain Emma) I think she's a b****y, manipulative, little strumpet . I dislike the personality of the character. She's a interesting character, just not one I like.
I disliked her more after the 3 minutes, because it just reminded of why I dislike her so.
