    He was done better in the second movie, I was dissapointed about the whole him havin powers without armor thing in the first.

    The guy in the movies just wasn't Doom. Doom isn't a spoiled brat, he's an egotistical, megalomaniac. The film Doom was more akin to petulent child with electro powers than a World-Ruling badass with the most kick ass armour this side of Iron Man. Doom wasn't a genius in the films, he was the corrupt business exec type that has so polluted action films since Alien. 
     
    Anyway, that's just my opinion.

    Even though the FF movies were not all that good, I felt like the characters were portrayed was for the most part dead-on EXCEPT for Doom. They completely whiffed on him, and I feel, missed a huge opportunity to bring to life one of the all time best comic villains. If they do remake this one here's some advice. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    They turned Doom into a crybaby bitch with a Susan Storm infatuation. Confusing him with Namor much? They took 616 Doom and mixed him with Ultimate Doom, threw in Julian Mcmahon and BAMMO! Crapola. The reboot should come out in 4 years after the memory of the past two films is completely extinguished. Make it a sci fi movie, a TRUE sci fi movie. Also Doom should not be the first villain. He should however go bad before the credits roll setting up the sequel.

    He wasn't portrayed smart enough in the movie... Plus, he got his ass kicked way too easily.
