The Crucible of Life was a mystic artifact from Godwheel capable to heal the life and power of any entity. When the cosmic being known as Argus was seriously inuried after a battle with the vampire Rune, he tried to use the crucible but discovered damaged. To repair it and gain access to its power he needed the three keys hidden in Godwheel: the Roc's egg, the Windsword and the Crystal Crown.
The Crucible of Life was capable to heal and restore cosmic powers but also was capable of amalgamate cosmic beings and open portal to other dimensions. It was throught the power of the Crucible of Life than Thor (fro the Marvel Universe) reached the Ultraverse.
