    Jim Collins is an American stranded in Paris. He decides to join the French Army to fight against the Nazis. Since he attained the rank of Corporal in the R.O.T.C., he is assigned that rank. He meets up with a boxing teacher called Slapsie, and the pair become continual cohorts in war.
