Calling herself Ms. Marvel, she established herself as one of the most powerful and prominent heroes and respected member of the Avengers. She has now adopted the mantle of Captain Marvel for herself.

    I stopped reading her comics some time ago, so I'd like to know...

    ...do current comics with Carol have any mentions of her past as an alcoholic? I'd think that, since Marvel are trying to make her their flagship goodie-two-shoes hero, they'd try to erase any mention of Carol being a bitter alcoholic in the 90's. Is it true?
