Pre-order 'Beware the Batman: Dark Justice' Today

Now you can find out how the season was meant to end.

For whatever reasons, Beware the Batman ended before it was meant to. That means we never got to see the final episodes. There's already been a Blu-ray release for the first half of the season that contained two unaired episode. It turns out, there's more. A lot more.

Warner Bros. has just announced that Beware the Batman: Dark Justice is available for pre-order. This is Season 1, Part 2.

Pre-orders are now open for Warner Archive Collection’s Blu-ray™ release of "Beware The Batman: Dark Justice." Featuring the final 13 episodes of the groundbreaking, all-new CGI series’ first season, the single-disc Blu-ray™ will be released on September 30, 2014.

"Beware The Batman: Dark Justice" pits Batman, Alfred and swordstress Katana against the underworld likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Over the final 13 episodes, the rogues gallery expands with appearances by Killer Croc, Man-Bat, Deathstroke and more. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a ‘Batman show.”

Pre-orders for "Beware The Batman: Dark Justice" can be placed now on wbshop.com.

at least they get released, which is awesome. I know of a couple of cartoons series (like he-man) that got snuffed out before reaching their end :(

Didn't it? I thought it did on adult swim?

This show is nominated for a Emmy.

Yeah I thought they burned out the unaired episodes in a 3 AM timeslot.

Update - just checked Wikipedia and it looks like episodes aired outside the US. The finale ended on a particularly interesting note:

At the end, Batman, Katana, Oracle, Man-Bat and Metamorpho form the Outsiders.

It would have been interesting to see where future seasons would have led.

The first 13 episodes introduced lame characters like Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie, it gets cancelled. They should have begun with Killer Croc, Man-Bat, Deathstroke then air some episodes with lesser known villains.

@patrat18: good one. and adam sandler won an oscar for jack and jill.

The Deathstroke episodes were pretty awesome.

These have been available for a while to watch from various other places, and I still never got around to it.

I think the thing with this show is it's just....adequate. It's nice they have different takes on villians and such, but nothing about the show made me want to keep watching. Perfect popcorn entertainment at 4:20 many days though.

I really did love this show..

Jack and Jill wasnt that bad.....

You can't be serious.

Did you actually watch it? OR you just on the "It sucks" bandwagon. It wasn't his best by any means, but it clearly wasn't his worst and it had its share of laughs.

They are

The bad news, however, is that the episodes will air at 3am on Sunday mornings, starting on July 27, 2014. That’s right, fifteen of the twenty-six episodes of the series, which features a butt-kicking Alfred, Katana as Batman’s first sidekick, and a younger, more brutal Batman himself are being - there’s no other way to describe it - burned off at essentially the worst possible timeslot. The new timeslot for the series, the final hour of the “Toonami” block, will begin May 11 at 3am Eastern/Pacific, and run through the first, already aired episodes of the series before beginning the new ones at the end of July. The new schedule has been confirmed by Cartoon Network.

I got forced into it by my gf, got damn what a waste of money. The only part i smiled at was when the mexican guy made jokes and said "I'm kidding".

@patrat18: wikipedia says no emmy nomination.

@allstarsuperman: remember when the hobbo just got up and left? i dont think that was in the script. the actor just went 'im done'. but hey maybe i didnt enjoy it because it wasnt smart, witty, funny and the fact that it contained my most hated form of 'humor': 'guy dresses as a woman now laugh because we say it's funny'.

I still hate dat CGI

@allstarsuperman: guy dresses as an old black woman racist stereotype is the last thing wrong with the medea films. but hey it keeps people employed so that's something. gee a similarity with adam sandler's friends.

That is not a good place to look things up. Type it in on google and SHAZAM!

@allstarsuperman: i like it. it didn't depend solely on x (tired of typing the whole thing) + it had good actors, even the kids.

I didn't like this show very much but i have to admit it was growing on me after seeing the Deathstroke episode and the ending!

it really made me interested.

Dark Justice would be a good name for a Batman comic.

Yeah, multiple Emmys actually. It ended up losing to the bland Kung Fu Panda TV show, though.

I wasn't sure about either The Batman or Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but they both grew on me. Probably B&B the most. When I saw the description for Beware the Batman, I said, "No." After cancelling Green Lantern and Young Justice and bringing back Teen Titans, Go!...why not bring back Batman: The Animated Series? Or Justice League or develop Batman and The Outsiders?

Sorry to be a buzz kill, but I'm becoming a disgruntled DC fan.

Actually this show FELT like it was originally intended to be a Batman and The Outsiders show. It had Katana, Metamorpho showed up, all that was missing was Black Lightening and they could have had a solid show.

I'm just gonna wait for the complete series to come out. Especially the special edition with all the special features. I'm a real "bells & whistles" kinda guy.

But seriously, this show was way underrated.

Posted by TenEyedMen

Also, I should mention that iTunes, PlayStation Network, and others, have been releasing episodes from this disc and unaired on television. They're up to episode 18 right now, with 19 coming out this Saturday.

Not gonna happen. Kids shows in general are skimped out on bonus features.

This show really is underrated. I don't understand all the hate for it. I really enjoyed it, tuned in every week... Wish it lasted longer than it did...

It was an interesting take on Batman; too bad it didn't work I like the idea of lesser known characters getting a chance to shine. Does anyone know what exact statement was when it got cancelled, seems strange not to air the ep's if there already finished.
