I will officially hate this show if they turn Barbara into Harley Quinn. They promised to actually give fans what they want this season.

Hard to see that Barbara becoming Jim Gordon's wife.

IMHO, the show's bad enough already, so they don't really need to do something that outrageous by turning Gordon's girlfriend into Harley Quinn. Then again....

Wasn't Harleen Qunizell a psychiatrist ? Wouldn't the Dr who loves dangerous guys be more suitable as Harley Mk1 rather than Barbara (still not got a real character yet) Gordon ?

@catty_spider1: I agree Barbara shouldn't become Harley. But Joker also wasn't a kid that lived in the circus...that we know of. The show is clearly going down its own path.

@g_man: Hi G-Man I don't mind them going down different paths, they are comic book characters, it's going to happen but at least have it make sense. Which I guess for Barbara is probably not going to happen any time soon. That was the thing that bugged me about the Finale with Selina too, She got the haircut of evil and suddenly she was joining Mrs Smith and going to murder Jim because it was fun!!

Gotham will last forever, i deal with it.

So far Smallville didnt had a huge impact, taking that Gotham is way worst, its not going to have any impact at all in the Batman Mythos.

Jerome's cool though. Despite how he shouldn't even be in this show, he's cool.

Over the span of about 4 episodes, Barbara got romantically involved with someone that turned out to be a serial killer known by the codename Ogre (who was after her because of Jim), who doesn't kill her, but keeps her captive because he "sees something special in her". He breaks her down psychologically (though it can definitely be argued that he simply got her to let go of her inhibitions), and kills her parents. Except it turns out that he simply watched while she quite willingly did it herself (which she confessed to before trying to kill Dr. Thompkins).

I stopped watching this show at the episode where they introduce this Jerome guy, I'm not seeing anything that is making me regret that decision. I feel this show has so much potential, a cop drama starring Gordon and Bullock, based in a pre Batman Gotham City. Sounds great on paper, but in actuality it seems to just be an origin story for every villain Batman has ever faced, many of which are being changed just to fit the show. This seems to be more geared toward non-comic fans, I have a co-worker who doesn't read comics and loves the show. I'm glad people can enjoy it, but it bugs me too much when I watch it
