Family Reunion
Now that´s what I´m talking about, lots of action, mystery enemy revealed, JLA giving a hand, Arthur and Garth trying to stop Ocean Master´s mad plans. Jurgens has the merit to make the oldest feeling (that´s not love folks, that´s jealous, the oldest sin ever), that´s a family dispute, into something colorful and interesting. The Ocean Master´s plan was very cunning, he even tricked the Queen Charlanda in doing everything he wanted and I like a villain that´s able to create evil crafted plans and also can brawl and survive a good old battle, despite the fact that´s he using magic against fists and muscles. Aquaman is in serious trouble, because he has the world wide opinion against him, the JLA thinking that he´s gone mad, a whole island trying to kill him and now his little brother has the upper hand, so Arthur will have to show the aces in the hole in order to win this battle, or he´ll lose his kingdom, family, honor, everything. Good narrative, excellent dialogues and the outstanding beautiful art of Steve Epting. Recommended.
