    I am loving this wild ride of the new Ultimate Spider-man. This issue finally sees Miles getting into the role of superhero on his own. Of course, who could Bendis and company throw at him for his first on-the-street-match?Omega Red?! I always thought his appearances with Peter were sad. He is not much better than The Shocker, who harassed Peter like a bad toe fungus. The fight is quick, and shows Miles quickly adapting into his new powers. He spends a lot of this issue trying to figure them out...

    On this issue, we see Miles Morales practicing more to be a better Spider-Man than Peter Parker was and now he's beginning to feel the same problems Peter had while he was alive: a skeptical public (with Parker dead), the suit beginning to stink ( reminding himself to get mouthwash) and enemies who think that Parker is really alive and not dead.     Synopsis: Miles starts to learn about his abilities while his uncle makes his return from Mexico.First, I have to say how I like how Miles is taking his responsibilities as Spider-Man seriously. He knows that he's inexperienced and any resources he can get (like a video copy of Spider-Man fighting Doc Ock) is helpful.
