That is true but it's moot in this case, since she can tank all of Kurapika's nen attacks. Her blade would handily slice through any Nen thread's I've ever heard of .... the Scissor blade is designed to cut threads and fibers

Matoi will rape, as much as I hate to say it. Her physical strength is untenable even for chain jail. Her strength comes from life fibers, not Nen, so unfortunately the best part about Chain Jail - that it forces zetsu - won't reduce her strength enough for her to be locked down.

Kurapika's healing thumb is potent, but it consumes a lot of Nen - also I'm not sure if he can do something as drastic as regrow limbs, and it's likely that Ryuko's superior speed and strength will leave him with major injuries with every bout.

However, Ryuko does not have Nen - thus Kurapika can launch a Nen attack on her using Ren. I'd say that that would be GG, but Ryuko has shown a mental and physical toughness rarely seen in other shonen characters. She's able to beat total mind control, powerful hallucinogenic suggestions, and risked death when she ripped out of Junketsu. So I think she can force her way through even a powerful and malevolent Nen presence.

Ryuko also doesn't really need more than one scissor blade for opponents who are not life-fiber based. One is plenty. The difference is only style of attack - duelist versus duel-wielding - and Ryuko has shown high levels of skill for each.

Ah and also, Ryuko with morals off is highly OP. MAYBE if kurapika had judgement chain he'd stand a chance, but even then, the only way to totally beat a life-fiber human is decapitation. Even judgement chain would not be able to kill Ryuko, as if her heart were crushed it would just regenerate.

I'm voting for @knightofzero. I strongly disagree with the idea that Adult Katara and Toph are getting beaten just because 80% of their lives were not covered in Avatar. All these one shots are mute to me. Everyone always goes for one-shots on comic vine. I don't think either team has capability to one-shot the other. I honestly think this would in actuality be a drawn out fight in which Pride's shadows give Knight the killing blow - @strictlyanime doesn't have the reflexes on his team to fight a 4v5 with those deadly shadows flying around. I know Knight wanted to get killing blows with Roy, but I agree with Strictly's analysis of Roy's ability - however I doubt that his team would topple Knight's in just a straight up melee with Pride's support.

@knightofzero my perk is totally useless for this round and you know it -.- However Heaven's perk is still extremely useful. We're in a deserted wasteland. I'm sure LOOKING LIKE SOMEONE ELSE will be useful -.-

your team is OP. I can't believe @knightofzero allowed this team O.o

OK well I'll post my strategy in a little while and people can just vote on whatever. Your team has a little too much utility to be fair, but I'll see what I can do. I'm very busy at the moment but I can probably get to this tomorrow.

@darkraiden

Alright, fine. Then I'll do something else.

Korra is taking the whole team deep underground, moving vast amounts of the sand using earthbending to allow my team passage into the Earth.

Here is a vid where Aang, clearly relaxed (and not even a master of Earthbending at the time, easily creating a passage several people could move through. Using the power of the Avatar state, Korra could simply push the sand out of the way, the group moving through the shifting sands fast enough to just avoid the sand then falling to fill the gap left behind. Alternatively, Korra could take the group into the bedrock first.

Loading Video...

Using the lightning and sticky Nen techniques I previously described, I can just have Korra bend everything out of the way as Killua transports my entire team via Godspeed towards the meteor.

"Storm can sense your team's movements. If they make an air bubble, she can dispel it and suffocate them regardless. If she wants, she can flashfreeze them. Even better, she can place a tornado or a lightning cage around the meteor so that you can't touch it."

I'm sorry, but Storm will not be able to detect or manipulate us if we're underground. Your "sensing with weather" scans were NOT sufficient to prove that Storm can detect SMALL objects (people) moving from thousands of miles away (it was a big ass plane with a massive heat signature, and larger objects move a lot more air). Additionally, your scans provide absolutely NO evidence that she can detect any movement of air or movement at all occurring underground. Your lightning strikes can also not reach underground. You'd have no idea that I went underground in the first place. Thus, you have no way of attacking me as I approach the meteor. This is going to be a close-quarters fight, whether you like it or not.

To counter sonic waves, I'll have Hisoka put a glob of Bungee Gum around everyone's ears to prevent sonic distortion from bothering everyone. Sound is just vibration - it requires vibration of molecules, and Bungee Gum can prevent objects with mass from going through - thus, I can essentially create a vacumn around everyone's ears, rendering my whole team immune to sonic attacks. Gon, Hisoka and Killua are all champions with incredible wellsprings of strength - I need specific gravity well specifications to see how they will fare fighting under increased gravity situations (although this will only come into effect when my team emerges from underneath your multiple layers of shielding and this is a close-quarters fight). Good luck placing me in a

"... jovian pressure dome that increases pressure to that of the pressure on Jupiter."

As I'm sure the chaos of a close quarters fight will render this impossible. Otherwise, show me a scan where Storm is being attacked by three maxed out combat speed characters and can still use this technique.

@knightofzero How much time would it take for t-spheres to summon? I don't want to bat your t-sphere attack pattern down right away @darkraiden, but I'd like to know exactly what they do and how you plan to use them.

As for your one-shot capabilities, I do believe my team has counters for all of them.

#1: Storm's Winds and Lightning:

Countered by: Avatar Korra

While powerful control of all weather patterns in one thing, Avatar Korra has total mastery of the elements - one of them being Air. Using the Avatar State (Which Korra will achieve right away due to bloodlust for Hell team) I can maintain a large air bubble around my whole team for breathing purposes. The avatar may also use the lightning technique to channel and redirect all lightning strikes. In the Avatar Universe, lighting comes from the clashing together of positive energy and negative energy - Yin and Yang. Firebenders can provide guidance and release for these two energies, allowing them to shoot lightning, or redirect it through their bodies. Avatar Aang (one of Korra's past lives) showed that he could use this ability. Seeing as Avatar Korra's close friend (and ex-boyfriend) Mako can generate lightning with almost zero movement, it is safe to assume that Avatar Korra also knows this technique.

Thus, using the Avatar State, as long as Korra travels in close enough proximity with the group, all members of my group will be immune to this one-shot effort (lightning strikes and suffocation). If your group reverts to this tactic, Korra will have her hands full countering, thus my primary strategy will revolve around obtaining the meteor whilst protecting Korra. I do theoretically have other counters to your tactics, but I will bring them up if you rebut this current effort.

#2: T-Sphere timing and strengths?

Countered by: Jack

I don't know how fast Terrific can conjure T-spheres and I also don't know the specs of the spheres. I'd like some explanation of the capabilities of the t-spheres.

However, I DO know that I have the capability to keep my team protected - via a biotic shield from Jack. I included one of Jack's most impressive biotic feats in the previous round (and I will repost it here when I have some more time), but she can keep objects and matter from penetrating into a biotic shield (a selectively permeable shield). I even calculated the total strength of the shield - to know more, I really do just need to know the specs of the t-spheres - how heavy are they, what do they do, how to they attack, etc.

My own movement capabilities (base, w/out dragon):

I do have the capability to move my entire team at hyper-sonic speeds towards the meteor. My champion Killua has a "Nen" ability (I will explain the capabilities of Nen on request but I did a pretty full explanation of it during round one) in which he turns his "aura" into lightning, and temporarily turns his nervous system into pure lightning. This ability allows him to move "as fast as lightning" for short periods of time. To move my whole team, I can use Hisoka's Nen ability "Bungee Gum" to essentially stick the whole team together in a glob. Using Killua's ability, I can move the whole team towards the meteor, although this will likely tire Killua. I'm actually still doing research on Killua's ability myself. I will provide scans for all this stuff soon.

I'd like to see what you have to say against my rebuttals @darkraiden.

As for my prep, I'd have Hisoka's Nen threads preped, and Killua overcharging his Aura to try and stave off tiredness after his "GodSpeed sprint." Avatar Korra could attempt to talk to her past lives and find the Light Spirit, Rava, in the spirit world, who provides a major source of the energy in the Avatar State. If Avatar Korra can convince Rava to give her an extra boost, her bending could be even more potent than usual, providing her the ability to possibly one-shot several of your champions if they stray too far from the group.

I also theoretically have a tactic to make my team nearly impossible to detect or see. I'll explain it, but if I did, would you have any counters for this sort of stealth approach?

I vote for @juliantheapostate.

@strictlyanime had a couple of powerful hero's and very good abilities - however I am of the opinion that Julian, on the defensive, can delay Strictly's team for at least twenty minutes - long enough to win the match. The big issue with his strategy was that he got too distracted with Uncle Sam and the mob of Egyptians to focus on anything else - this whole match turned into a debate on ability power (Will Sam be frozen or not?) and I heard relatively little on how Strictly was going to KO the cultists in time.

In essence, I'm pretty certain @strictlyanime would win in a deathbattle.

However, he didn't play strongly enough to the situation, preferring to argue his opponent on his own turf. It's close, but using 10,000 Egyptians was a clever way to stall an opponent.

Nice job, both of you. @strictlyanime I hope you stay around for future voting, you offer useful analysis and insight!
