Staying behind at the hideout, Rinji and Gozu become aware of a shinobi following their tracks. At the same time, Kakashi and his team notice that the enemy is using a bat for surveillance. Both sides are now aware of each other’s presence, keeping careful eye on the other’s next move. Meanwhile, Guren takes Yukimaru and hurries back to her men. But Yukimaru comes down with a fever after being in the rain, forcing Guren to nurse him.
