    Mr. Knight

From the first preview of this book I was craving more to read and this first issue definitely didn't disappoint. As a comic reader myself, I didn't really know a whole lot about the character Moon Knight himself. If you're starting this issue expecting an origin-like story there's really not a whole lot there for you, aside from a small paragraph somewhat catching you up. With this aside, you really don't need to know much about anything to be able to pick this book up, which is great! Warren Ellis does a fantastic job at bringing the reader up to speed and where they need to be to go along for the ride. With this creative team and a fresh start I could see this book going far!

    The Good:

This start to the new series does an amazing job at setting up a story without really putting everything out on the table. As a reader, you can start to pick up on what kind of direction the book might go in. Ellis does a fantastic job at establishing who the character is and mentions some of his previous actions in other series' and talks about Moon Knight having dissociative identity disorder, or DID. The writer makes his character full of style (that white suit ain't cheap), smarts and an attitude to match.

This issue feels almost detective/noir like in the way that everything feels like an old-school crime story. The art in this comic definitely contributes to this same feel with the classic look and dark scenes within the book. The art brings out the mood in each and every panel, making you want to read more and more.

    The Bad:

As of right now this is the book I'm most excited for in the All-New Marvel NOW! That being said, there really isn't anything to pick apart this book. I haven't read any of the other Moon Knight series, but I can really see myself enjoying this one and the creative team is killing it with this great start!

    The Verdict:

My friends and I were extremely hyped for this issue to come out as soon as the previews for it were released. The first issue is an awesome start for things to come and anyone can pick this series up with this fresh start. If you've been wondering if you should put this on your pull list, definitely check it out and give it a shot.

      Not insane, just damaged! 0

When I first heard the Moon Knight announcement, I honestly didn't really care, not because that Moon Knight is a bad character or anything, but mainly because I haven't really been interested in him. I will admit that the creative team did raise my interest in the title but at the end of the day It was still either a hit or miss option for me, because as good as Ellis can be at times he can really make a sudden bad turn. A prime example of this would be the Avengers Endless Wartime graphic nov...

"He likes people to see him coming." Moon Knight, Marvel's awesomely cocky Batman. 0

Moon Knight is BACK with his own monthly title again! Written by Warren Ellis with artwork by Declan Shalvey and colors by Jordie Bellaire. The GoodYou'll be singing Justin Timberlake's Suit & Tie, you know it! Don't deny it! When there are characters released that resemble icons that have been around for years (i.e. in this case Moon Knight being similar to Batman); we sometimes look for the bad in the character as to why they shouldn't exist solely because of them having similar characteris...
