Synopsis

THE AGE OF MONSTERS HAS BEGUN!

As an enraged Hulk tries to take control of Bruce Banner’s body permanently, a mysterious immortal turns every monster in the Marvel Universe against Banner in an attempt to free their creator, the primordial Mother of Horrors. With the help of an unlikely new friend, Banner and Hulk must try to stop the world from getting plunged into darkness in this terrifying new series!

Plot

One year ago in Al-Qadisiyyah Governate Iraq- A team of tomb robbers find a buried crypt, but as they had hoped to find riches instead, they find a mummified body of a giant monster. Then when Trudy finds an ancient skull she is possessed by the Eldest and devours her teammates.

Now, Estill County Kentucky- When Bruce Banner enters Jack's Diner, everything seems okay, but then Banner sees the Hulk taunting him in visions and the puny human flees into the night begging the Hulk not to take over.

Bruce blacks out and awakens to a half-eaten deer carcass and Jacks Diner destroyed. Upon seeing the police, Banner flees deeper into the woods, missing the scene that plays out shortly after he leaves. Trudy, now completely possessed by the Eldest, arrives at Jack Diner and sensing that the Hulk is nearby, releases one of her little brother, a monster dog, to find him.

Nearby, Charlie, with the help of her best friend Rusty, attempts to steal her father's car, but she is caught, and her drunk father beats her, but she escapes the beating and runs into the woods. Charlie's father catches up to her and tries to run her down with his car but misses and hits a tree.

Charlie wanders into the woods and comes across the police attacking Banner, who changes into the Hulk, attacks the police then walks off. Upon seeing Hulks transformation, Charlie goes back to her father's crashed car, pulls him out of the wreak and then beats him to death. She then leaves her father's corpse to find the Hulk.

The Eldest and her siblings find Charlie's father's body and takes his form. The Eldest then awakens all the monsters and terrors of the Earth. She then commands them obey the Mother of Horror and hunt down the Hulk, who she now calls the Fractured Son.

Elsewhere, Charlie catches up to the Hulk and begs him to let her come along, all which starts off the Age of Monsters.
