I am totally picking this up. The art looks great and the story should show good parts of Conan's character and probably a lot of foreshadowing for when he does become king of Aquilonia. It looks awesome! Glad to see that you dug it, G-Man.

@The Devil Tiger: I have given 5's before. With this, it had great art, a good story and simply was fun. Those are the important things.

@timrothsays: I reviewed the first issue in a Lucky Seven video. The second, after being interrupted, I lost my momentum and scrapped the shoot.

The story seems kind of cliche for the genre, but the art is very well done. This seems like the basic barbarian story of the big strong guy becomes king in battle instead of the oddly girlie looking prince. The prince will normally turn to some evil wizard out of spite for revenge.

I loved it, I'm a long time Conan reader, and this should have been the set-up for the third film in the trilogy (that never happened) although it was intended to be.
-Conan, the King- was going to be the third film.

From the bottom of my heart as a Conan fan, this was one of the best Conan stories in good long while. and to any other Conan readers, do your self a favor and get this issue if you haven't already.
