What do you guys think about what Marvels doing with the X-Men and Inhumans and where do you think it'll lead?
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13420 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Thoughts on the Death of X/IvX/ResurrXion trilogy event?
As it was said multiple times, the idea behind mutant/inhuman tension had so much potential, but the way they decided to execute it, the less said the better...
Typical Marvel sh!t currently. They refuse to acknowledge that it's not about how angry the fans are, it's about how good the story is. But then, I'm rereading the cosmic sagas starting with Annihilation and I do know that Marvel CAN be really good when they are at it. And thinking that current GotG mainstream iteration and lineup was mostly just a side "intergalactic Suicide Squad" story from Annihilation Conquest initially...
@masterofevil: More like struggled to read lol. It was VERY disappointing.
@anopticblast: They took an entirely stupid concept and actually made worse! Nothing that ANYONE did made any sense! I don't want spoil it for anyone, but then again, I'll do it if a lot of you want to be spared from the bullshit.
@masterofevil: oh go ahead and spoil it. I'm morbidly curious as to what happened but I don't want to drive o my lcs.
it was good and sadly emma didnt die but i want cyclops and jean grey(adult) come back to life and maybe even wolverine and prof X
lol can u imagine old man logan vs wolverine(regular 616 version) @koays (plus did anyone notice when logan lost his healing factor before he died, they made him look so old)
@masterofevil: thank you. well i was wanting blackbolt to die but oh well. freaking inhumans. cant even accept even a little responsibility
@masterofevil: It was pretty disgusting, and I really do not like how they have been writing Storm lately. The made her do nothing when stuff went down at the end.
i agree, i actually don't think the execution of this series in any way promoted the Inhumans. By itself, without all the fore-shadowing over the past year, i actually thought Death of X on its own merits wasn't a bad mini-series. In fact, it in almost every way was a "Cyclops Was Right" series. But with all the hatred shouted out over the last year for Cyclops, it made no sense. The resolution at the end was interesting. Emma was her usual manipulative, awesome self. Love her even more, even if she is perhaps going a bit nuts lol.
Marvel has systematically killed off all the popular X-men leaders and people want to act like there's no agenda? I guess it's going to take Storm dying in IVX to make people open their eyes right.... By the way did even one Inhuman die in this crap because from what I've read online and reviews they seem to be killing mutants like they were killing Kennedy's back in the day
Well with the launch of Several X titles and the announcement of a couple inhuman books. They already spoiled kinda some of what happens post IVX Spoliers for those who don't wanna know. Inhuman royal family is returning to space, What this means for the kingdom no idea, Also a sceret warriors team made up with inhumans. What that means for Mutants no idea.
