Well, at least it explains why Mr Sinister was so convinced that mutants can adapt to the Terrigen mists.

And of course it had to be Cyclops. The guy "that refuses to die"... That was funny.

But it does hold a lot of potential. After all we've been following this characters for years now. And maybe it's about time mutantkind takes another evolutionary step forward. For them to become better and more powerful.

And lets not forget, Scott's transformation is not complete, or Sinister wouldn't be trying to perfectly combine the properties of the Terrigen to the mutant X-gene.

@heavenlydarkdragon: I'm also not totally opposed to this so long as they don't change the appearance of certain characters too much or have their powers completely overwritten with new ones instead of just adding.
