    Back in New York. 1

Review of X-23 #13.  The Story: Laura and Gambit are in New York to find another person on Laura's list but a strange symbole in the sjy cause's some destruction and she team's up with Spidey and the FF.  The Good: I really liked Phil Noto's art, it has this kind of old school feel to them, I have no idea how to describe it but I really like it. She asked if Kiden has been here and Cecilia says yes but not often. Laura leaves him with Cecilia to get better as she goes off to find Alex. She finds him but decides not to approach him. As she leaves she feels pain...

My brother mentioned this book to me as pretty good, so I thought I'd pick it up and I was pleasantly surprised.Female representation in comics as a hot-button issue seems to have dwindled, but I'm trying my best to go out there and support books with women on their creative team. Marjorie Liu definitely makes it easy. The wri...
