    Another new Jumping On point

I've been praising Witchblade for the last few months now. They've also been kind enough to give new readers several jumping on points. You get nice re-caps here that aren't really painfully forced if you have been reading for while. But I say that's it. Everyone should be reading this now.

The big hoopla is that writer Ron Marz and artist Stjepan Sejic are on board until at least issue 150. That's pretty amazing. I have really really enjoyed the last few issues with Sami Basri's art but now we have stability. While I enjoy both styles are art, they are different. At first it felt a little weird reading this issue after 115. Sejic's art truly is amazing.

And even though this issue continues to set things up, we do also move forward on other fronts. Dani moves to the next step in her relationship with Tom Worthy. I have to say that there has to be something mystical about this dude. He has to have some power over her. She seems to be acting...stupid. She's told this guy she barely knows everything that she knows about the Witchblade and Sara. I've been suspicious of him from his first appearance. With an incident that happens in this issue and what appears to be the cover for next month's, it doesn't look like I'm too far off.

We get an update on how Sara's sister, Julie, is doing. Sara also starts her first day with the Special Cases division. What a first case she gets. She's going to have her hands full. She better hope that only having half the Witchblade will be enough.

As always, I'm left waiting for the next issue. I like where this is going.
