Back on track!
I liked this issue. I was a tiny bit let down with last issue. It wasn't a bad story but it seemed to focus more on Magdalena than either Dani or Sara.
Here we get to see a little more of Dani in her private life. It's interesting how the Witchblade lets the current wielder experience memories of the previous ones. It's a good way to learn some things. Also getting to see Dani have coffee with her friends helps to make her a little more human. She is young after all and needs some normality in her life to cope with all the craziness the Witchblade brings. Although her normal afternoon is cut a little short by the Angelus and the Angelus warriors.
Another interesting bit is how things are getting skewed. The Angelus is supposed to be good, with the light and all. The Darkness is supposed to be bad. Witchblade is in the middle. Yet the choice of Celestine as the host for the Angelus brings all that into question.
Dani learns a new power but will it be enough to take on the Angelus and all the Angelus Warriors? Read the issue to find out!
