    A Comic Of Two Halves

Yeah, alright already - I know we`ve moved on and Spidey now is facing up to Kraven, but I`ve been catching up on a few recent issues and it was this one I read late last night...
My first reaction was great! They`ve changed the artist! The opening pages were very good, Emma Rios` style is a vast improvement on the previous issue. An exciting start too - the encounter between Kaine and this Ana girl had a definite sinister touch. Yep, it was all looking two thumbs up, and then....

    oh.
He`s back. Bachalo takes up the artwork for the second half of the comic, in which Spidey confronts the Lizard. I find his artwork a bit too messy and chaotic, I could barely make out what was going on. And the Lizard! What`s happened to him? Is he evolving ( or de-evolving?) Looks like a dinosaur.
Conners inner turmoil as he struggles with his human and saurian personalities is written well, though.
Overall, not so bad, but it could look a lot better. I enjoyed the first half alot more than the second and its purely down to the artwork...

      Review: Amazing Spider-Man #631 0

Spider-Man vies to save the son of Curt Conners, as the Lizard-side battles Curt for dominance over his body. In addition, the daughter of Kraven, Ana Kravinoff, is also a key player in this story. Can Spider-Man overcome these obstacles to save a life?  The Good I've never really been a fan of the Lizard, until this issue. I really enjoyed the inner battle as The Lizard made his choices within this book: the battle between Curt's humanity and The Lizard's primal urges. This issue comes do...
