Amazing is the only word I could use to describe every other issue of this series. I loved it. More than I've ever loved the Teen Titans ever! Kid-Flash's cockiness, Aqualad's timidness, Wonder Girl's girly-ness (I genuinely mean that!) and Robin's leadership was amazing. I feel bad Wolfram had such little time on this. I think she really could have done with at least another 3 or 4 issues or maybe even an ongoing series! But sadly that didn't happen and this is where it ended. I was devastated by the end. Every time I turned the page I was hoping to see some continuity between this and the last 5 issues but that never happened. I wanted to see more of the Speedy / Kid Flash / Wonder Girl love triangle, I wanted more Aqualad and Robin. I just want more of this! Maybe that's my major issue here. But this issue left me so unmoved I was actually saddened by that fact. It just had no bearing on the other 5 stories SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content.
I hope Wolfram gets to do more Titans in the future. She wrote a few great episodes of the animated series. But until then I'm going to keep re-reading these five issues til the paper starts to tear!

Sadly this comic fails in about everyway imaginable. Not only did it get off on the wrong foot with me, but it continued to disapoint me even after it had won back some of my trust. This Year One series was terribly rushed. The bonds between the characters arent fleshed out at ...
