Teen Titans #11
Brett Booth is a perfect match for a series like this. I really like the facial expressions that he has on the characters because they look a little quirky. I also really like the action scenes in this issue. They turned out really nice and really showcased the fighting. I was also really liking the panels that he adds, is makes the page look very complex. The story is focusing a little on Wonder Girl and her armor. I really like the humor in this issue. I think Bunker and Kid Flash are already the best characters. I really liked starting on a simple villain. I also really liked seeing all the other heroes spending their time. I really like seeing these characters talking and they do that in this issue and it's fun just to see them hand out.
THE BAD:
This version of Wonder Girl is really different to me. I like the old character a lot better then currently. My biggest worry is the new origin that they are giving her. She is called Wonder Girl, I hope they at least give a little connection to Wonder Woman. I was also a little confused on the backup feature and it just felt a little out of place consider where Kid Flash ended up at the end of the main story.
THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
This series has improved a lot to me. I no longer have to force myself to read it and find myself smiling over the dialog more then other series. I think the important thing to remember when reading this book, is to just use it for the fun Scott Lobdell provides. The plots are a little wacky, but the characters are becoming more and more likable. If you like any of the characters, then read this to see if you like it. If you want a fun comic to read, this is your stuff. I recommend this to people who want to read a fun story.
