    Superboy # 5

    Superboy lost and confused wasn’t sure who to turn to. Being a weapon for a shadow government black ops is the only thing Superboy knows to be. However he does have emotion for the people whom raised him and that were the closet thing dear to him. Superboy saw Fairchild the closet thing he has to a mother. I like Fairchild character, however I liked her character origin better from Image Comics with Gen 13. She was a small geeky chick kinda cute, then she hulked out with big boobs still stayed slim and not overly buffed out. Of course the artist depicts Fairchild the same image as She Hulk and I’m not so into that image for her. I think her should be as Gen 13 was. There’s a new mysterious villain that takes flight in this issue that is Mr. Templar. A dark mysterious figure with great power. This comes to terms with questions if Superboy will or not be a government stooge, or work for himself, or perhaps The Teen Titans. The ending for this issue has a cliffhanger waiting for me beg what it is the woman said the last page, the last comment said. I rate this issue a 3.5 of 5.0 rating.

      For the past four issues I haven't been blown away. Scott Lobdell is a good writer people say, and I believe it but I haven't got that spark from this series so far. Does issue number five change that?  THE GOOD: The art is very clean and enjoyable. I like the characters emotions and I really think that you get the feeling of what they are feeling. I also really like the way the mental powers look. I think that are pretty cool. The story is where I'm still not clicking. I really liked Superboy h...
