Another Journey Through The Mind Of Stephen King

The story is based on the works of Stephen King. You know what to expect.

    The Good:

Marc Guggenheim does a good job adapting the story. Alex Maleev's art really shines. It seems I usually either really like his work or I'm not too crazy about it. The detail and the color are amazing here. We have a bizarre tale it's refreshing to step away from the superhero comics every once in a while.

    The Bad:

There's not too much bad unless you simply don't care for Stephen King stories. If anything, the issue almost felt too short. I guess it left me wanting more, which isn't a bad thing. Maybe reading it as a trade would've been better.

    The Verdict:

I'm a big Stephen King fan. I'm glad more of his works are getting adapted into comic book format. I know this story has been out for a little while as it was originally adapted as webisodes. It's a fun and interesting story. Maleev's art is superb and Guggenheim does a nice job setting things up. It just felt too short.
