Ready to die
An assassin is on the loose to kill Emperor Roan Fel.
Pros:
Here, we have another stand alone issue this time featuring Emperor Roan Fel. One thing I like about Roan Fel in this issue is that he's not all talk. He can actually defend himself when needed. He show his skills when fighting one of Darth Kruhl who was sent to assassinate him. While the Sith can play dirty, Fel isn't afraid to play dirty either. We also find out what happens when you cross the emperor. Darth Kruhl really proves how dedicated he is to the Sith Empire. Even knowing that going to kill Emperor Fel is a possible suicide mission, he goes at it without the fear of death.
Colin Wilson returns as a guest artist, and while he's have some rough spots in the faces, the fight scenes were nicely done. Also, the background environments were nice as well.
On a minor note, I normally don't comment on the sketches at the end, but I really like the artwork of the Galactic Alliance fleet done by Sean Cooke.
Cons:
My real problem with this issue was the first half. It was a noble attempt for one of the people of Codru-ji to stand up to the Sith, but it was unnecessary to the plot, other than to show off Darth Kruhl.
Overall: While the first half felt weak, the second half of this issue made up for it. I see a Roan Fel in a different perspective.
