    I've never actually read spiderman. with 700 issues its hard to find a place to start, any recommendations on volumes or writers? Thanks a lot!

    @mune: Ultimate Spider-Man issue 1-160 by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley if you want to know WHAT the character really is,and how he is written right.
    You'll dig it.And you'll understand how great he is.Issues 1-6 is the origin.

    Trust me,it's the best recommendation i canb give you,if you want to know the character.
