So I just saw this tonight, and I'm quite surprised about the negative reputation it has! I thought the play was great, the actors are excellent and the stuntmen are magnificent. Yeah, it's not at all accurate to the comics, but who cares? I think it does a great job of getting across the main idea of what Spider-Man is, not to mention being humourous and thrilling. As a note, the understudy Matthew James Thomas played Peter Parker for my showing, and I thought he was excellent. He's got a great voice and great chemistry with Rebecca Faulkenberry, who plays Mary Jane.
So a question, have any of you guys seen it and what did you think?
