    Catfight!

Now this was a good book but it did not make me jump through the roof like the Catwoman book that came out this week but it was still a really good read. I love Gail Simone she stole my heart with Birds of Prey I thought that woman could do no wrong after reading that series. When she took over the Secret Six I was ecstatic and she has done a wonderful job with them so far. My only problem with Simone is I do not like the way she writes Bane and that is one of the reasons Secret Six is not my favorite title right now. I will not get into my nit picking on how Bane should be written but if you like classic Bane you will probably be slightly disappointed.
I am a huge fan of John Ostrander's art work it is always so loud and distinctive you can really read the characters then he is so fluid with his fight scenes and motion scenes he is a really great and underrated artist who gets sweeped in as a basic DC artist and never really given the attention he deserves. Now if I ever needed to back that statement I would go straight to this series and especially this particular book.
Onto the book the story is after the Six walk into the Squads trap and there is tension in the air. It is filled with Gail Simone's trademark humor which as a super fan I loved! The book has some hilarious scenes with Bane and Deadshot. But in this book Catman really stole the show and won a whole new level of respect with me I never knew he was bad ass but holly hell you got to read this. Like I said Ostrander did a superb job on the fight scenes. And it closes with some hilarious Deadshot scenes which is all I need to by a book!
I give this a 4 out of 5 great book but Gail you need to start writing Bane better please? For me? But on a serious note any fan of Gail John and most importantly Catman this is a MUST.

Secret Six has had a briliant run. They have been my number one comic for a while, and i love every character involved (even though i used to hate about half of them).  but this.... this was bad.  The story was jumbled. A majority of the story was riding rather heavily on two rather crappy Black Lanterns. And all of the bits that would have been pretty awesome for the fans of the teams and characters where just glazed over.  the best part of this issue is easily the fight between Catman and Bro...
