    Fear in Secret.

    Secret Avengers #13

Hey everyone so this is my last review for the day so I hope everyone enjoys! Ok so this issue opens up pretty high paced. So these Nazi robots are attacking Washington D.C. so Warmachine, Beast, and Ant-Man answer Steve's call to protect Washington D.C. As this goes on Hank is told by a woman that their commander wants to see him. Hank is then told by the commander that a member of the House of Representatives ,Leonard Gary, wants to see Hank. They were once friends. Leonard won't leave because... well I'm not too sure why because if there was some crazy blitzkrieg rightoutside the building I'm in, I'd hightail my ass outta there!  Leonard confesses to Hank that all he ever wanted to be was a history teacher and he wanted to make it come alive. He reveals that he's a mutant once Hank figures it out. At the end Leonard decides to come out to the world about his mutant abiltiy by killing himself on global broadcasting!

    The GOOD!

Most of this issue was interesting. The fight that was goining on was cool and actiony, while we had some dramatic moments with Leonard. I think this issue did well as a selfcontained tie in with Fear itself. This issue really showed Beast's importance. I loved War Machine's new suit, it looks so high teched and cool and I can't wait to see more from it.

Art: Eaton's art was very good in this issue. Especially the action scenes with all the robots and everything. The cover looked really nice and my favorite part about the cover was the character's jaw lines. They're so defined to where it looks like they were real people modeling for that photo.

    The BAD!

The issue's main focus was Beast which I didn't have too much of a problem with but I missed the other characters, especially being that the past couple of issues have been all about Steve. Like I need some Black Widow action, which is why I can't wait for her one-shot coming out. This Leonard story was good but it felt a little awkwardl. What I also didn't like is how immature Ant-man was in this issue. Especially during this crisis. I'm starting to think that he's not cut out for this at all.

    Verdict!

I had my problems with this issue but they didn't affect the rating all that much. SO I give this issue a 4 out of 5. Pick it up.

The Lincoln Monument is Pretty Angry 0

The Lincoln Monument stands up and punches a mech driven by a Nazi. Much more than this happened in issue 13 of Secret Avengers, but that's all that I can think about right now.The GoodFirst thing's first. In this issue, there was a scene, which is totally my favorite of the year so far, where the statue of Abraham Lincoln gets out of his seat and punches a mech driven by a Nazi. In context, it's just as awesome. I'm not going to tell you why or how this happens, but trust me, it's the coolest s...

ABRAHAM LINCOLN STATUE SMASH BAD NAZI ROBOTS!!!! 0

This is in fact, not only the best fear itself itself tie-ins and the best and most awesome issue of this series!!! (screw the main team!! even if bendis is the one responsible for that) The armies of the new red skull are invading Washington and to help on the defense, members of the secret avengers: beast, war machine (aka iron man 2.0) and ant-man are sent to support as we see a great battle that seems hopeless as it goes, three heroes as awesome as they are can't alone defeat these enemies....
