    "Ninja? I'm insulted."

In the 12th issue of Red Robin the answers to the questions we've been looking for this past year are revealed.  Why did Tim Drake come to the conclusion Bruce Wayne was stuck in time?  The answer is here.

    What You Need To Know.

Tim Drake has been traveling the globe, looking for clues that prove that Bruce is alive.  He teamed up with Ra' Al Ghul only to betray him.  As a result Ra's has targeted the Batman Family.  Tim is on a one way collision course and his target is Ra's Al Ghul.

    The Good

Chris Yost has apparently known Tim Drake all along.  Chris Yost has an amazing script here that highlights Tim's character so very well.  He shows that Tim Drake is every bit the Detective that Batman believed he would be.
The Batman Books Editors have done an amazing job, tying the books together and this book ties into the others very well.
Tim Drake vs. Ra's Al Ghul, much better of a fight than Tim had with Shiva in the last issue of Robin.
The Supporting Cast made a lot of sense, and shows how Tim is different than Batman.
The reason that Tim believed Bruce was alive, makes logical sense, something that ties in with the other Batman Book that came out this week.

    The Bad

Chris Yost is leaving this title, it took 12 issues to warm up to his interpretations, but now everything makes sense.

    Verdict.

Red Robin #12 answers the questions it promised to answer, while setting up the next arc for Tim Drake.  It was an amazing read, it had it action, it's explanations, and it's lead-in to the next arc.  The whole series has been leading to this point, and now that it's arrived it definitely pays off.  Tim Drake wasn't as crazy as we might have perceived in the first issue.  The reveal and the ending is a pay-off to a strong year of comics for Tim Drake.  Tim Drake's life is certainly going to be headed in a new direction.  If you haven't been reading this series, you should pick up the trade when it comes out or pick up the back issues.  It's not really new reader friendly.  If you've been following this series this is probably one of the most important issue.  You should have this.

      Better than batman??? 0

Let me start off by saying I've really enjoyed Yost's run on RR, I'm gutted he hasn't been given more time as it feels like Yost was only getting started.   The Good Once again Yost makes a point of demonstrating why Tim is fated to be better than Bruce. In a previous issue he focussed on his training from some of the best in the world and how he has taken on their strengths but eliminated their weaknesses, this issue moves to his detective skills and friends within the DC universe. Yost has rea...
