Red Hood and the Outlaws #12
Timothy Green II is doing the art in this issue. He does his best for following Kenneth Rocafort. He adds a lot of details in the backgrounds. The way he draws the armor of the characters is very well done and he even makes it look awesome. The Blight that he draws looks evil as well. The story is very interesting and we get to see the reason why Roy was kidnapped so easily. The way that Scott Lobdell pulled that off was interesting and it really ties together the relationship between Kori and Roy. It was interesting to see that Roy does think a lot about other things and it makes the character much deeper. The ending is very interesting and the pay off should be very good when we get more answers to why the colonel was there.
THE BAD:
This issue was good, but I would have liked to see the team more together. I liked the art, but there is no way that it can compete with Kenneth Rocafort.
THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
There are really great things about this series. They are friends, but not a team. They are all starting to get relationships and develop as characters. It's fun to see that the characters really do like each other especially from the beginning where they didn't really like each other. The change to friends felt so gradual as well. If you like any of the characters, especially Starfire, then this is going to be something you check out.
