As for the storytelling of the show...I hope for some good Frank Castle moments. I trust his family (origin) is given far more focus than his rampant disregard for villain life.
A rivalry with Daredevil seems natural, especially since it has a rich foundation in the comics.
Why are you basing it off of one role? Watch Wolf of Wall Street, Mob City or Fury.

The way I see Frank Castle is most likely different than how other fans do. He has been sadly reduced to a sadistic killing machine over the last few years. He's not just some smoldering badass who doesn't give two figs about what anyone thinks.
The depth of the character needs more than macho bravado, a furrowed brow, and a grumpy scowl. He also needs to have a sensitive depth and the capacity to communicate the damaged interior & heartache that fuels his one-man war on crime.

It's also worth pointing out this is shipping within a few months of LEGO Dimensions which will be huge and have the kitchen sink of microtransactional minifigs/characters.
