There's so much uncertainty when ever Marvel or DC launches a new book.
If I was in charge this is what I'd do announce that every new series going forward will have 24 issues or two years worth of issues. If it is not clicking with the fans after 12 issues do a creative team change same again at 18 issues.
Next I'd make it so that they fix there trade release schedule. When they finish an or arc or cross over I would put out the trade that week. Some series like Wonder Woman and Batman read better in trade and canceled series like Blue Beetle might have been able to gain a following that way.
This could go along way in building back consumer trust especially with DC.
Ahaha they added a "six" for the podcast introduction right after I left that comment last week. Coincidence? Maybe... actually I have no idea. Just starting the podcast as I write and I thought that scene with Gordon was cool too.
Here is an updated list of New 52 titles interesting that unchained got canceled as its only outsold by Batman. I would hope Snyder and Jay Lee move onto the main Superman book as man that book needs a change.
Edit : This list includes all current series and announced books how ever does not include books like Teen Titans and Animal Man as they are ending.
@2cool4fun: all those books are geting canceled Animal Man is ending on Jeff Lemires own terms as he has finished the story he wanted to tell. And it has Batman first there for it goes in the Batfamily I don't care what Wikipedia says :D
@timelord: I was more going towards what DC says...but oh well.
Btw Talon should at least be their, since Talon is not ending, and if you are not counting titles that are ending in April, then you should also remove Larfleeze as it is getting replaced by Sinestro.
@darkrider: I will pick it up... if you can convince me why its good.
first you have Black Canary one of the biggest dc Characters but not only her you get batgirl and new 52 Cassandra Cain kind of and in my opinion one of the best new Characters from the new 52
Starling all this in one book with good writing and good art
@2cool4fun: Talon is ending at issue 17 and Larfleeze is only rumored to be canceled. As of the April Solicitations for 2014 it is still on going this is all the stuff that is official from DC.
These were the last round of cancellations and the number that the series is ending on.
@darkrider: I guess I am going to have to pick up the trades then. For some reason I thought the team was Batgirl , Poison Ivy and Katana had no idea Black Canary was one of the leads.

in the beginning of the series Poison Ivy and Katana yes
@timelord: ". I would hope Snyder and Jay Lee move onto the main Superman book as man that book needs a change."
I would actually argue that scott lobdell has done more for Superman that Scott Snyder.
Three things Unchained has going for it
1. JimLee art
2. More pages
3. A Lois Lane sub-plot
Mr Lobdell's Superman on the other hand has had great crossovers (I liked h'el on earth), great relationships (WW, SM, Lo-La), a great supporting cast (kat grant) with interesting dimensions to add to the comic, Special appearances (SBoy, Lex, Sgirl), like Unchained; it aswell has great art (benez, lashley, rocafort), and many, many villians (though i havent liked this facette so much). But I guess its all personal taste of what a reader likes. ;)
@timelord: Batman/Superman actually does go in the Superman family. When DC were releasing there solicits early in family groups (E.G. Superman, Batman, JL) it was always put in the Superman family.
@lifeboy: We shall agree to disagree good sir I personally don't like Scott Lobdells take on Superman he feels to alien. Were as I am really loving Gregg Paks run on Action Comics he's bringing out the more human side of Clark
And I get really annoyed when he cross over with Supergirl as for a while that was the only Super Family book I was reading I am now reading Action Comics and Superboy.
Oh my God Tony you're so bad. lol I wasn't trying to argue. I was pointing out a disagreement that was a misunderstanding because I misread the review. I don't start arguments unless I'm mad at the person. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know to start read Birds of Prey with Kristy Marx. It's definitely been good ever since the writer is been on this book. I like how team doesn't get along but will work together angle and they are dealing with the metahumans. Plus Strix and Condor are very interesting characters and Ra's Al Ghul has already started to appear, so it looks like it will be interesting. Also I'm kind of the total opposite of you and Mat, I'm loving the Dark Forever Evil titles because of the characters' chemistry. But besides that Blight is pretty boring. Harley Quinn in the other hand I'm hating it because of the over the top humor isn't funny to me so I might drop it after a few issues. It's surprising because I love Jimmy Palamiotti writing and I pick up every single book he writes. So, it's strange for me to not like it. By the way, Mat I think you were talking about the team, Annihilators when it came to Gladiator.
Next month I was thinking about picking up batgirl but I have a question mark by it because I read the first trade and did not like it. What are your thoughts about that?
Did I miss something? I don't think Superman: Unchained got cancelled, it's just that Snyder and Lee have a lot on their plates at the moment so they need to end it? I though Snyder said that himself. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
@lifeboy: I guess I'm the total opposite on that because I have been liking Batgirl ever since issue 1. I know the comic vine crew doesn't seem to like it much. But I think the Wanted Arc has definitely made the writing strong. The only disappointing issue was with The Ventriloquist. It really left a bad taste in my mouth and have been hating that character ever since. I really want the old Ventriloquist back with Scarface. I don't know if the Wanted arc trades are out yet. Because Batgirl is one of my top picks, so I'm always getting the single issues. So I hope that helps.
@timotheus316: Yeah Superman Unchained had just been announced as cancelled in the April solicits. They haven't said why, but I'm assuming the constant delays of the issues release caused that to happen and both Scott Snyder and Jim Lee have too much plates on their hands. The reasons I heard is that Scott isn't the type that can do multiple books. He's was even delayed The Wake many times because of having too many books. I really don't know how he's gonna write Batman, Batman Eternal and Wytches at the same time. Jim Lee's reasoning is that he's raising kids and handling the DC business since he's the 2nd man in charge. So, I guess it was too much for them.

@g_man@inferiorego You both owe it to yourself to check out some of Comicbookgirl19's videos. She is awesome! I think you would enjoy some of her commentary. She is an X-Men and Thor lover and an artist in her own right. She also reviews movies and pretty much the same kind of things us nerds are all into. Later.
