Who is an Avenger? We've seen a lot of teases and announcements over the upcoming members of the Avengers, New Avengers, Secret Avengers and even Avengers Academy. Some have been expected and others have been a little surprising. Yesterday Marvel announced that there could be another member joining the Avengers: you.
Avengers #1 will be released on May 19 (which Marvel has also declared as Avengers Day). If you go to www.IAmAnAvenger.com and submit your photo, you could appear in an upcoming issue of an Avengers comic. Maybe you won't be fighting along side Iron Man or Captain America but you'll still get a chance to appear in print. This is a limited time invitation and is only open to those at least 18 years old and therefore old enough to join the greatest team in this universe.
