Lockjaw Origin...

I thought the idea that Lockjaw was an inhuman child mutated into a dog was refuted.

"It was once believed that he was born humanoid and was changed by the Terrigen Mist, 'revealed' when he spoke to the Thing, but this was later described by Quicksilver to merely be a joke that Karnak and Gorgon were playing on the Thing."

Has it been confirmed he actually is an inhuman child transformed?

I think he's much better as a dog. I guess the people who wrote the article for marvel.com, liked the other explanation better.

Yeah the dog angle is funny. I also saw it recently in a marvel guide encyclopedia thingy. Wonder if PAD just snuck that in without the higher ups knowing.

According to the site you linked to, it seemed to indicate that it was PAD based on a suggestion from Busiek. It might have just been a way to invalidate Byrne's ideas. Since before his FF run, Lockjaw was a dog.

Like a hot pocket cooked too long in the microwave. All hard and crumbly.

I'd pretty much have to smell him, bite into him, or see his original wrapping to find out, like any other hot pocket i've confronted that hasn't exploded while cooking.
