Legion of Super-Heroes #13
THE GOOD:
The story is very complex and is still continuing from where we were at issue #12. Now, we are focusing on the recreation of the Fatal Five. Seeing the Legion splitting up and searching for the different things that are needed to recreate the Fatal Five is very cool and we get some new info on the Fatal Five. Cosmic Boy, Element Lad, and Chemical Kid are the stars of this issue and it's really cool to see Jan really teaching Chemical Kid and really trying to tone his powers to where they could be. Rokk gets into a bit of trouble this issue, but he still manages to have some cool magnetic powers. The new designs for some of the ships look really cool and it makes the 31st century seem much deeper. The character interaction in this issue is just pure gold because we get to see so many different characters talk that it's really cool to see what these characters do.
THE BAD:
This artist needs some major help in anatomy. Nothing is right in this issue. Legion of Super-Heroes should have an artist that can really get all the characters right and add to the 31st century in a positive way, this artist just can't. Picking on artist isn't cool, but looking at the legs bending just isn't right... seriously.
THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
This issue is still good due to the story and only that. The artist needs to be removed from this book or get a little better at drawing. If you like the Legion of Super-Heroes and their classic stories, you probably want to start getting a little interested in the book, because we are going to have the return of the Fatal Five and I'm sure that we will get a huge and great story. I highly recommend this to Legion fans only, because I feel the Legion is stuck in a fan only phase.
