    Have it ever been explained why kryptonians didnt use the potential of yellow sun energy to make them gods? They were a very advanced race with technology to travel to other planets, i dont see why they didnt build machines that could generate yellow sun energy etc, etc...

    They did not knew at that time. This does ask the question since Jor-el knew. I guess it was only theorized at that time. Either that or they been holding information.
